PC Pager32 IS

A 32 bit shareware program that sends alphanumeric messages to beepers
up to 4000 characters in length.It can send this message to a single
beeper or an entire group of pagers.PC Pager32 more like a message
center for beepers that supports simultaneous multiuser shared database
of pagers.Keeps records of the last page sent to each pager as well as
the results of that page and timstamps it's delivery for later 
reference.PC Pager will install two programs the paging interface
which is "PC PAGER" and the database administrator "Alpha Editor"
which adds deletes and changes the database.Alpha editor includes 
built in utilities to compact,backup and repair damaged database.
Can print database.Administrator has privacy feature to prevent
unauthorized persons from getting pager information for selected beepers.
PC Pager features auto signature,resend last message,and cut and
paste operations great for relaying other documents like email 
to beeper.

Requires operation on Win95 (tested).
8 meg memory highly recommended.
Sending pages requires a modem any speed will do as messages to beepers
are by nature short 300 baud works faster than 9600 due to extra modem 
negotioation time for 9600.



* should also work on NT (NOT TESTED) if you have successfully 
installed it on NT please drop me a line and let me know so i can add
operating system.


PC Pager may be freely distributed in it's
original form this file installation.txt and PC Pager_144_Disk1.zip
and PC Pager_144_Disk2.zip either together in PC Pager32_V1_00.zip
or on two floppy disks.
PC Pager May not be distributed once the setup program has been
run, only use the original zipped files for distribution.





PC Pager - Installation Instructions

materials needed (2) blank 1.44 meg 3.1/2" floppy disks


1. Extract PC Pager_144_Disk1.zip to 1st Floppy disk.
2. label 1st floppy "PC Pager - Setup"
2. Extract PC Pager_144_Disk2.zip to 2ond Floppy disk.
4. label 2ond floppy "PC Pager - disk 2".
5. Insert floppy labeled "PC Pager - Setup" and double click setup.exe
